
Any one who is a regular reader of culture and street wear blogs from across the pond, will know that stores on America’s East and West coast have got it pinned down when finding the balance between style and content, and even though there are a fair few retailers here in the UK with that get the content right, its a rare occasion to find a store looking as fresh as Glasgow’s Goodlife Store.

On Friday night we were lucky enough to head over to The Arches on Glasgow’s Argyle Street to catch the opening of stencil artist Klingatron’s first hometown solo show ‘Making the Cut’ and as you can probably tell from the photos, he killed it.

One of Glasgow’s hidden gems, The Recoat Gallery is currently hosting an exhibition by London based graff supremo Insa. If you haven’t come across his work before, here is what SlamxHype had to say back in January:

On March 7th Glasgow will host the first hometown solo exhibition of Scotish stencil artist Klingatron. Emerging as one of UK’s the hotest new artists Klingatron has already had the pleasure of group shows in Newcastle, Belfast and Edinburgh not to mention his recent apperiences at the Xynthetic ‘Carbon & Chemicals’ show at the Kitch-en gallery in Middlesbrough and his first solo show at the Workshop store in Bristol.
